Endora Premium Responsive Prestashop theme

Getting started


Requirements

PHP configuration:
Permissions

Installation

1. First of all you have to extract the zip file.

2. In filder Install you will find theme.zip and productcomments.zip.

theme.zip is the main file where the theme is located.

3.Log in to your back office and go to modules page and find module "Import/export a theme". If don't have this module, you can find it here

4. Press configure, pick theme.zip and press next.

5. Now you should get this confirmation,click next.

6. Select modules you wish to install (recommended: leave all selected), select theme configuration and press next.

7. Next step will inform you about installation status. Click "Finish" button.

Configuring images

8. Go to preferences -> images and set image size as below.

9. Recommended but not necessary. Enable png images

10. Press save and go to the bottom of the page and press Regenerate thumbnails

11. Go to Preferences -> Themes and disable mobile version.

12. (optional) Import improved product comments module

Go back to modules page and find the default product comments module and uninstall it.

Now go back to top of the page and press add a new module.

Pick productcomments.zip and press Upload this module.

And at the end install the module.

And you are done!

Endora option panel

This module do all the magic and it's the main thing you need. all settings are self-explanatory so you shouldn't have any problem.
 
The option panel si divided into six categories and each has its own subcategories so you can easily and fast find what you need.

Banners
Banners has multilanguage support and 3 main places where you can place them. Home, left and right hooks.
 
Main banners can be set with full width, 1/2 width, 1/3 width, 1/4 width.

Endora featured products block

This module will enable you to view featured products on home page.

If you want to add products into this module, then simply add them into home category and they will be automaticlly displayed.

Endora product comments

This module is improved default prestashop product comments module, which allows you to display product rating and enhance google rich snippets.

This module will enable you to add your own social media into footer section.

Endora twitter module 

This module will enable you to display your tweets in three predifined areas. footer, right and left column.

setup

To connect your twitter account with this module you need your twitter widget ID and user name

You can find this ID in your twitter account.
 
Go to settings -> widgets -> create new widgets -> press create widget button and at the bottom you can see the twitter widget code -> copy this code into text editor -> and inside this code you can find your twitter widget ID. Check image.

FAQ

My installation does run and I didn't get any error message. What can I do?

If this is your case, then try to increase your max upload limit in php.ini

Items in the menu doesn't appear on my site?

Go to Advance parameters/performance and press the button clear your cache

Do you need Merchant's tips?

If so then go here

Do you need some tips that are not related with my theme?

If so please look here. They will answered you incredibly fast.

Multistore

If you use multistore feature, then you have to after creating every new shop save all settings of that shop in option panel module before you can start using it. Or reset the module.

Update

Fresh install is always the best way, but you have second option and that is just copy new files into your current prestashop, but you have to uninstall and delete all theme modules which you can find on modules page – Autor: marpaweb.eu and then install them again, the reason is that I will often update modules functionality and database queries so they will need reinstall.
 
If you have settings in option panel which you don’t want to loose I would recommend you to take a screenshot of your settings so you will always know what you had set.
